Gifted Characters

Hurley appears to be one of many "gifted" people on the island. He was the ability to see and communicate with dead spirits.

Richard is immortal
Desmond can see the future, and the state of sideways universe.
Walt apparently had the ability to teleport or communicate with people using telepathy.
Unlocke (smoke monster) is a changeling and has the ability to take on others forms. He also has the ability to turn into smoke.
Jacob had amazing insight on people and situations without witnessing them.
Miles had psychic abilities to commune with the dead, he's able to learn about what poeple thought and events that lead up to a person dying.

I think there are others with gifts, this is a short list.
